Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NumericaLTI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, students, instructors, and institutions.
2. Description of Service
NumericaLTI provides an interactive numerical methods learning platform including algorithm solvers, canvas visualizations, problem sets, study groups, and Canvas LTI 1.3 grade passback integration. Features vary by subscription tier.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@numericalti.com of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent any security measure; (b) submit malicious expressions or code through the solver; (c) share account credentials; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (e) interfere with other users' access.
5. Subscription and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, visualizations, and software comprising NumericaLTI are owned by NumericaLTI Learning Inc. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal educational purposes.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of any equations, solutions, or data you submit. By submitting content, you grant NumericaLTI a limited license to process and store it solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Numerical results are for educational purposes and should not be relied upon for engineering, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NumericaLTI Learning Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the billing settings page.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
